VKTI parengė Papildomo vairuotojų mokymo tvarkos aprašo pakeitimo projektą. Teisės aktas įsigalioja 2016 m. lapkričio 1 d. Vairuotojai, pažeidę kai kurias Kelių eismo taisykles, privalės ne trumpiau kaip 45 minutes papildomai mokytis valdyti automobilį slidžia kelio danga. Pradedantieji vairuotojai (B kategorija) papildomus mokymus privalo baigti už šiuos pažeidimus: - viršytas nustatytą greitis daugiau kaip 10 km/h, - sukeltas eismo įvykis, per kurį buvo sutrikdyta eismo dalyvio sveikata, - vairavimas naudojoantis mobiliojo ryšio priemonėmis, Vairuotojai, kuriems atimta teisė vairuoti, papildomai mokysis už šiuos KET reikalavimų pažeidimus: - viršytas nustatytą greitis, - pažeidus KET sukėlė nežymų sveikatos sutrikdymą arba turto sugadinimą. Be kitų mokymų papildomai vairuotojai bus mokomi automobilio vairavimo slidžia (šlapia, snieguota, apledėjusia, žvyro) kelio danga ypatumai. Tai leis vairuotojams suvokti, kaip, nepasirinkus saugaus greičio važiuojant skirtinga kelio danga, galima prarasti automobilio kontrolę ir pakliūti į sau ir aplinkiniams pavojingą situaciją automobiliui tapus nevaldomam ir kaip nedidelis greičio viršijimas gali būti lemtingas veiksnys valdant automobilį ir jam sustojant.
